Hotel Keihan Tokyo Yotsuya

This was our first trip to Japan, we came from France and loved our stay at the Keihan hotel. The place was really nice, very clean, and comfortable in every little detail. The bed was perfect, the room well appointed, and it has more equipment than expected. The staff is the main value for us, always attentive, kind and available. We really felt valued as a customer, it was amazing. The possibility of having breakfast and meals in the restaurant at the entrance is appreciable, as well as being of really good quality. If we come back to Tokyo, I think we'll come back to the Keihan too. Thanks you to the hotel for these qualities of service. It was great experience.

Location was nice, very close to Tokyo metro and JR lines at Yotsuya station (about 5 minutes walk) which is generally very central to connect to all landmarks of Tokyo. Room was clean, facing the main street but was nice and quite. Plenty of in-room amenities, plus they have an takeaway bar with toiletries, teas, etc in the lobby so you can stock up with what you need without needing to bother the staff. Also, big shoutout to the helpful staff who assisted us greatly in contacting the lost and found centres for the Tokyo Metro which english would have proven challenging; we recognized they put in good effort to help us communicate our needs.

The staff was super friendly, they even went above and beyond to help us with an issue related to Amazon packages and the hotel address. They schedule a taxi and find out the price for us. Despite not speaking English fluently the staff is super friendly and helpful, and we were able to understand each other with our poor Japanese and google translate. The room was great and clean, the location was perfect 3 minutes walk from Yotsuya Station which is a not-so-busy station.

I liked how friendly and professional the staff were. All of the ones I met, throughout my stay, was always very helpful. I love how close the hotel was to the train stations and how close it was to everything (convenience stores, pharmacy, coffee shops, restaurants, etc.), in general. I loved that personal care was provided (shampoo, conditioner, body wash, body wash towel, face care, etc), it saved the stress of having to go buy everything, as I arrived and got myself settled. The checking in and out process was easy and staff was always available to help, when needed. The room was clean and kept clean throughout the entire stay! We were even given complementary hotel water bottles, every time we used their eco cleaning option, where on days that they don’t deep clean our room, they take out the garbage/recycling, change to fresh/clean towels, and remake the bed. I love that the hotel provides sleepwear as I forgot to pack it, so it was appreciated. Overall, I was very satisfied and felt very comfortable staying at the hotel. It began to feel like a second, small home.

Decent hotel, good value choice for Tokyo around €100 per night. Yotsuya metro station is only 300m away with 2 metro and 1 JR train lines. Convenient in-between main visit areas of Tokyo. The small but for Japanese hotels medium sized room has a desk and chair, which is already more than most hotel rooms have space for in this price range in central Tokyo. Breakfast buffet was limited but enough to get you started.
